A little less than 2000 years ago, on Ascension Thursday, Jesus physically left Earth, but he left us with a promise of returning. But when science and the society around us take for granted that the Universe will continue tomorrow, we Christians can easily get carried along. Therefore we will study some of the Apostle Paul’s thoughts about what happens when we forget the promise of Jesus’ return and our resurrection.
